Mexican authorities capture El Ponchis, a 14-year-old boy suspected of participating in at least four decapitations
Mexican officials have arrested a 14-year-old boy suspected of working as killer for a cocaine cartel.
An army officer said the suspect was captured at Cuernavaca airport with his 16-year-old sister trying to catch a flight for the US border, from where they reportedly planned to travel to California to join their mother.
The boy, nicknamed El Ponchis (The Cloak), was brought to a regional office of Mexico's attorney general's office today. He said he had participated in at least four decapitations, adding that he had been "drugged by the gang and under threat that if I didn't [do as they said], they would kill me".
