Sharp LYNX, Another Glasses-Free 3D Android Smartphone

In addition to having already unveiled the Galapagos glasses-free 3D smartphone for Japanese carrier Softbank, Sharp is back again and this time it is bringing the LYNX 3D SH-03C to NTT Docomo of Japan. The phone does offer competitive specs with a 1 GHz processor, 9.6-megapixel camera, digital TV tuner, and a 3.8-inch screen sans glasses for 3D effects. The device will launch with Android 2.1, though the carrier is committing to giving the LYNX an update to Android 2.2 Froyo in the future, which would bring with it support for Adobe Flash 10.1 and tethering capabilities.
